Provider Enrollment, Chain and Ownership System (PECOS) records will be used to verify Medicare enrollment prior to making Medicare EHR incentive payments.
To enroll in PECOS, visit www.pecos.cms.hhs.gov to complete, review, and submit the electronic enrollment application.
Eligible Professionals are required to have an individual National Provider Identifier (NPI) to enroll in the CMS EHR Incentive Program.
