Kunal Agarwal Senior Applications Developer kagarwal@lipix.org
Kunal joins LIPIX as a Senior Applications Developer. In this role he is responsible for developing both internal and external web based products to enhance the effectiveness of the core LIPIX offering.
Kunal joins us with around 6 years of experience as a software developer for a major healthcare applications company where he was involved in gathering and analyzing customer requirements, designing and developing an ‘Ambulatory Pharmacy’ product, as well as modeling and optimizing several workflows in an outpatient pharmacy system. Kunal additionally led an effort to revamp user security in the organization-wide structure to simplify administration and help support user provisioning. Kunal has received several awards for his innovation and dedication to include “The Hanging Gardens of Babylon Award” for creativity and “The Lighthouse of Alexandria Award” for excellence in customer service.
Kunal holds a BE in Computer
Engineering from Pune University and an MS in Computer Science
from the University of Southern California, where he received
the "Outstanding Academic Achievement" Award.
Danielle Craighead Outreach Manager dcraighead@lipix.org
Danielle joins LIPIX as our Outreach Manager. In this role
she is responsible for managing relationships with the various
users of the LIPIX network including patients, clinicians, and
participating providers.
Prior to joining LIPIX, Danielle worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
for over six years in various positions, including Foreign
Exchange Operations, Prime Brokerage, and Proprietary Trading.
Danielle is a graduate of Brown University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Materials Science Engineering and was a member
of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and the Sigma Xi
Honor Society. She lives in Manhattan and enjoys cooking,
cycling, and reading.
Chuck Dennis Director of Applications cdennis@lipix.org
Chuck is responsible for overseeing the technical direction and development of all LIPIX products, ensuring adherence to schedules and effective and efficient utilization of resources.
With over 15 years of experience in software development, systems implementation and project management, Chuck has worked on extensive development projects for a vast array of organizations producing sustainable and quantifiable business results.
Chuck holds a BS degree from
the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Louis Ethier Project Support Specialist lethier@lipix.org
As a Project Support Specialist Louis is primarily responsible for assisting in project management for various implementations and testing of new and revised software builds.
Louis has experience performing Neurobiology Research at Siena College and Tropical Marine Biology Research in San Salvador, Bahamas.
Louis is a graduate of Siena
College with a BS in Biology. He is currently attending C.W.
Post of Long Island University where he is the recipient of the
Dr. Lawrence Memorial Scholarship and is expected to receive his
MS in Medical Biology in Spring 2010.
Tara Feuerstein Administrative Support Associate tfeuerst@lipix.org
Tara ensures the smooth and
efficient operation of the LIPIX office.
Prior to joining LIPIX, Tara
assisted a major real estate developer on Long Island with daily
operations and scheduling.
Tara graduated from The State
University of New York College at Oneonta with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Communication Studies & Public Relations.
Beth E. Friedman Project Manager bfriedman@lipix.org
Beth focuses on the management and coordination of various technology development initiatives.
Beth has extensive experience in Healthcare including time as a Pediatric Nurse, Nursing & Obstetrics instructor and Project manager. She has also authored a chapter in the book “Establishing a Regional Health Information Organization”, published in 2007.
Beth has a BS from SUNY
Downstate and an MSN from Rutgers University. In her spare time
she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and biking.
Mark Greaker Chief Technology Officer mgreaker@lipix.org
Mark’s responsibilities as the Chief Technology Officer for LIPIX include the overall vision, direction and maintenance of the technical infrastructure, as well as network security and optimization.
With over 25 years of
Information Technology experience, most of it in the Healthcare
arena. He started his career in the US Air Force as a Combat
Communications Technician. After 6 year of world travel and
working in a vast array of challenging situations, He returned
to New York. He then started working for MedE America Inc., a NY
Medicare/caid eligibility vendor as their Technology Manager.
During this time he worked with over 100 hospitals and several
national payers. His career path then led him to become the IT
Director for St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers of New York
City. During this time he managed the integration of 9 diverse
Healthcare Organizations into one corporate entity. Prior to
joining LIPIX, Mark worked for Ascension Health, the nation’s
largest Catholic Health System, as the Regional Service Delivery
Executive, managing 28 major hospitals across the Eastern US.
Mark holds technical training certificates in several
specialties, as well being certified in ITIL and Six Sigma
processes.
James Heiman Project Manager jheiman@lipix.org
As a Project Manager for LIPIX since 2007 Jim is responsible for ensuring all implementation and integration projects are maintained on schedule and within budget.
Recently, Jim completed an internship in the NYS Department of Health, Division of Health Facility Planning, where he received extensive exposure to the State's Certificate of Need (CON) process, the competitive state procurement application and review process (HEAL NY RGA), and the NYS Berger Commission on Health Care Facilities in the 21st Century. Jim has also been involved in analyzing and comparing SPARCS data with MEDPAR data, specifically in regards to AHRQ's Patient Safety Indicators.
Jim also has a BS in Biology from Siena College and an MS in Health Policy and Management from the Albany School of Public Health.
In his free time Jim enjoys
golfing.
John LoSchiavo IT Infrastructure Manager jloschiavo@lipix.org
Joining the LIPIX team in late 2008 as the Manager of IT Infrastructure, John is mainly focused on implementing and supporting cost-effective technology solutions and ensuring the efficient operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.
With over fifteen years of exhaustive experience in the IT field and over six years of as a lead systems engineering architect John possesses the knowledge and experience needed to ensure optimal performance for our clients.
This vast experience encompasses roles supporting the authorization systems for a large payment processing company, management of a PC helpdesk providing urgent support to the data and voice infrastructure for Card Establishment Services as well as a stint as a systems engineering manager for multiple locations across North America.
John lives in Massapequa Park
with his family and enjoys golf, fantasy football and spending
time with his family and friends in his free time.

As a Senior Interface Analyst Chris focuses on developing interfaces from Hospitals in our region, as well as managing the HealthShare application.
Chris has over 4 years of experience in Healthcare Information Technology, where he has worked as a Database Analyst for large Healthcare organizations as well as doing part-time projects as an Integration Consultant.
Graduating from Towson
University in 2005 with a BS degree in Computer Information
systems Chris was accepted into Beta Chapter of Upsilon Pi
Epsilon Honor Society. In his free time Chris follows local
sports (Yankees, Rangers & Giants) and is an avid Hockey and
Softball player and Snow Boarder.

Greg is responsible for all marketing direction, business development and account management for LIPIX.
With over 17 years of experience in Marketing, Management, Training and Human Resources, Greg has developed a wide array of skills across several disciplines, to include, both traditional and interactive marketing, management, coaching, process improvement, training program design, development and implementation, and data analysis and evaluation.
Prior to joining LIPIX Greg founded a boutique marketing firm focused on exploiting low cost, interactive marketing techniques for small and mid-sized companies. Greg also spent over 8 years as the Managing Director of Interactive Resources for a large New York City based Executive Search firm.
Greg’s management and leadership experience were developed early in his career as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer, where he was responsible for leading a division of skilled technicians. This experience taught him an important lesson, “respect isn’t given, it’s earned.”
Greg is a graduate of the
Virginia Military Institute with a BS in Computer Science. He
enjoys spending his free time with his wife and dogs.
Benjamin Stein, MD President & CEO bstein@lipix.org
As the President and CEO of LIPIX Dr. Stein oversees all aspects of the business and provides strong leadership and direction to ensure the LIPIX tool meets and exceeds expectations of clients and state regulators.
With over 13 years as an ER doctor in multiple facilities and more recently, as the Director of Clinical Systems for a large Long Island based health system, Dr. Stein understands the value that timely and accurate medical data can have in an emergency situation.
Dr. Stein holds his undergraduate degree from Brown University and his MD from Georgetown University.
He spends his free time with
his wife and 3 children and enjoys attending sporting events and
travelling.
Raman Vig Applications Manager rvig@lipix.org
Raman is responsible for
process definition and data analysis.
Raman previously worked for Epic Systems Corp. in a project
management role assisting the University of Chicago Hospitals
with the design and build of their inpatient software
implementation.
Prior to Epic Systems, Raman
earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in
Journalism from Stony Brook University on Long Island,
graduating as a member of Golden Key International Honor
Society.
Raman is an avid basketball fan who hopes the NY Knickerbockers will one day win an NBA championship, or at least a game.
